Hipster PDA Modification

Here's a little modification I made to my Hipster PDA.  The Hipster PDA was created, or at the least, given a cool name by Merlin Mann, who has the greatest collection of GTD stuff that I know.

The Hipster is the simplest solution to the task of collecting for GTD (Getting Things Done by David Allen).  Take the Hipster PDA with you everywhere.  When you make some notes, then toss the cards in your 'In' box.

I took the standard Hipster PDA, and modified the 3"x5" notecards, by cutting a 45 degree chamfer in the corner where the clip goes.  This way, I can have the binder clip open or closed while keeping the 3"x5" form factor, which makes it easier to stuff in a pocket.

The Cutout is 1" from the corner in both directions, or in engineering speak a 1"x45 degree chamfer.

The mini binder clip I found at Office Depot, as well the graph paper type index cards.  I'll post later about my favorite pens..

Now get capturing!

Tech Project - Sirius Stilleto antenna adapter cord, Part 1

Today I received my parts in the mail, so time to break out the soldering iron and get to work....

What I'm making is an adapter to plug in a normal Sirius antenna into my Sirius Stilleto portable player.  Sirius does not sell this adapter, because they'd rather sell you a home or car kit to do the same thing :(  Thanks to some clever people at siriusbackstage.com, you can make one yourself.

All the details are here:

The plans, so to speak, are here:

I bought 4 connectors, just in case I bjork one of them up.  If I am successful, maybe I will make a couple more and sell them on Ebay or something...
